Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of mysite-name's custom wardrobe services across England. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any services to ensure a clear understanding of our operations, client responsibilities, and the project process.
1. Service Agreement
By engaging our custom wardrobe services—whether through consultations, design development, or order placement—you agree to these terms. Our wardrobe services operate in compliance with relevant UK trading standards and furniture manufacturing regulations.
We design, manufacture, and install bespoke fitted wardrobes and storage solutions through our qualified team across England.
2. Service Scope and Project Requirements
Our services include wardrobe design, precise measurement, custom manufacturing, and professional installation. We focus on creating storage solutions that maximise your available space while meeting your functional and aesthetic requirements.
While we provide expert wardrobe services, the final installation results can be influenced by existing wall conditions, floor levels, and property structural elements. We manufacture to high standards but cannot guarantee perfection in pre-existing building structures.
3. Client Responsibilities
To ensure successful project outcomes, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate room dimensions and access for site surveys
- Disclose any known structural issues or property constraints
- Ensure adequate clearance and preparation of the installation area
- Make decisions in a timely manner during the design phase
- Provide safe working conditions for our installation team
Clear communication and cooperative preparation help us provide the best possible service for your project.
4. Consultations and Quotations
Initial consultations and detailed quotations are provided for all projects. These allow us to understand your storage needs and provide accurate pricing. Site surveys are recommended for precise measurements and to identify any potential installation challenges.
Design development fees may apply for complex custom projects and are typically deductible from final orders placed within 60 days.
5. Ordering and Manufacturing
Project orders are secured with a signed agreement and deposit payment. The deposit is typically 40% of the total order value, with the balance due before installation. All custom manufacturing begins only after final design approval and deposit receipt.
We cannot reserve manufacturing slots or materials without a completed agreement and deposit payment.
6. Cancellation and Changes Policy
Orders may be cancelled before manufacturing commences with a partial refund minus design and administration costs. Custom manufactured items cannot be cancelled once production has started. Design changes after manufacturing begins may incur additional charges and affect project timelines.
Installation date changes require a minimum of 7 days' notice to avoid rearrangement fees.
7. Payment Terms
The final balance for orders is due before installation commences. We accept various payment methods including bank transfer, major credit/debit cards, and cash. Late payments may result in installation delays or order cancellation with forfeiture of deposit.
Additional services requested during installation may require immediate payment or be added to the final invoice.
8. Delivery and Installation
We coordinate delivery and installation across your city and surrounding areas. Installation timelines are estimates and may be affected by manufacturing schedules, material availability, or site-specific challenges. Clients should ensure the installation area is clear and accessible.
Installation appointments require adult presence at the property for access and project handover.
9. Material Variations and Natural Products
Wood veneers and natural materials may exhibit colour, grain, and texture variations between panels. We consider these characteristics part of the natural beauty of the materials. We recommend viewing actual samples before finalising material choices.
Sample boards and swatches show typical characteristics but cannot represent every panel in a production run.
10. Site Preparation and Access
Successful installation requires adequate working space, power access, and safe working conditions. We require clients to ensure the room is prepared, with existing furniture removed or relocated, and adequate parking available near the property.
Additional charges may apply for difficult site access or conditions that require extra time or equipment.
11. Product Care and Maintenance
We provide care instructions for your new wardrobe to help maintain its appearance and functionality. Proper cleaning methods and environmental considerations (such as avoiding excessive humidity) help ensure long-term satisfaction with your investment.
Normal wear and tear exclusions apply, and warranty does not cover damage from improper use or cleaning methods.
12. Project Documentation
We may request permission to document completed installations for quality assurance and, with consent, for marketing purposes. Separate written consent is required for public use of project images. You may withdraw consent for image use at any time by contacting us in writing.
Before-and-after project documentation helps us maintain quality standards and showcase our capabilities.
13. Warranty and Liability
We provide a 24-month warranty on manufacturing workmanship and materials. This covers defects in materials and construction but excludes damage from improper use, accidental damage, or modifications by third parties. Our liability is limited to the cost of materials and services provided.
We maintain appropriate product liability insurance and ensure all materials meet relevant British and European standards.
14. Complaints Procedure
We aim for complete client satisfaction with our wardrobe services. If you have concerns about any aspect of our service or products, please notify us promptly. We will address legitimate concerns through our established resolution process.
Installation or product-related concerns should be raised as soon as possible, ideally within 7 days of completion, to allow for timely resolution.
15. Terms Modification
We reserve the right to update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our services, UK regulations, or industry practices. The current terms are always available on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updates.
